Salsbury Industries is officially licensed and authorized by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to manufacture cluster box units and also manufactures a wide variety of USPS approved commercial and residential mailboxes.

Our vertically integrated 350,000 square foot manufacturing facilities and quality control procedures allow us to effectively and efficiently produce components that are machined, powder coated, assembled, packaged and shipped from our facilities. Is assembly required for posts or mailboxes?
Yes, some assembly is required for our mailboxes and mailbox posts. The assembly needed is minimal, however, and requires no special tools. Complete instructions for quick and easy assembly are included.
Can I mount mailboxes from other manufacturers to your posts?
Yes, most mailboxes are fairly standard in size, so our posts will work effectively with mailboxes from many different manufacturers.
Is your manufacturing process environmentally friendly?
Yes. We meet or exceed all local and federal regulations concerning the protection of the environment. Once the manufacturing process is complete, our baked-on powder coating will not flake or disintegrate.
Are mailboxes regulated by the government?
Yes. All of our mailboxes and posts are in compliance with US government and Postal Service regulations concerning mail receptacles. The US Postal Service has general regulations concerning the placement of mailboxes and mailbox posts, and the US Highway Administration has rules (note: this is a pdf file, which requires that you have Adobe Acrobat software which you can download it for free here) regarding mailbox posts. You should also check with your local post office for any other regulations that may apply to you and your individual situation.
